Round Plastic Fiber Optic Cable Slack Storage securely coils and stores excess fiber optic cable for strand and messenger applications. Constructed from UV-resistant PP + GF material, the storage unit can be used independently or in paired configurations. It mounts easily with included hanger brackets, bolts, nuts, washers, and strand clamps on poles, stands, walls, or aerial spans. The round channel design maintains proper cable bend radius while slots allow cable tie wraps for extra security. Compact, durable, and versatile, this system protects fiber from environmental exposure while keeping installations neat, safe, and efficient.

Installation Guide
-
Select Mount Location: Determine whether the unit will be mounted on a pole, strand, stand, wall, or vault. Ensure the surface is strong and stable enough to support the storage bracket and cable weight.
-
Attach Hanger Brackets: Use the included hanger brackets, bolts, nuts, and washers to secure the storage bracket to the pole, strand, or wall. Tighten securely but avoid over-torquing.
-
Position Storage Unit: Place the round fiber slack storage channel onto the hanger bracket. Ensure that the channel is level and properly oriented for cable insertion.
-
Coil Fiber Cable: Carefully coil the slack fiber optic cable inside the round channel. Maintain the proper bend radius to prevent micro-bends or damage.
-
Secure Cable: Thread tie wraps through the molded-in slots in the channel to secure the fiber loops in place.
-
Optional Stacking: For multiple loops or paired units, stack additional storage units using compatible stacking kits. Ensure vertical alignment and secure connections.
-
Check for Clearance: Make sure no part of the cable is pinched or stressed and that the unit is clear of moving objects or obstacles.
-
Verify Stability: Ensure the entire assembly is secure, and the fiber is protected before leaving the installation.
Tools Required: Wrench or socket set for bolts and nuts; optional cable tie tool for tie wraps.
