Often referred to as preformed suspension clamps, these products primarily include standard suspension clamps, Armor Grip Suspension units (AGS), and J-hook suspension clamps. Standard components typically feature an aluminum alloy or galvanized steel housing, a cushioned EPDM rubber insert, and high-strength matching hardware such as bolts and nuts. Installed on power transmission towers or telecommunication poles, these fittings provide robust structural support for ADSS, OPGW, and Figure-8 cables while protecting them against mechanical fatigue and compressive stress.

Structural Configurations by Span & Line Angle:

  • Short-Span Deployments (≤150m): Engineered for streamlined efficiency. These clamps do not utilize preformed helical rods; instead, the rugged housing and rubber inserts secure the cable directly.

  • Medium & Long-Span Deployments (≥150m): Consist of dual housing sections, dual rubber inserts, and both inner and outer layers of preformed rods to distribute continuous mechanical loads and wind vibration evenly.

  • Extra-Long Spans & High Elevations: For large spans or critical vertical changes, such as river or valley crossings, double suspension clamp assemblies are required to guarantee total cable safety.

  • Line Angle Tolerances: A single suspension assembly safely handles line installation angles up to 30° (20° for Figure-8 cables). For heavy directional turns falling between 30° and 60°, a double suspension assembly must be deployed.

We offer a comprehensive range of suspension clamps. We can precisely match the strength and span requirements of your overhead line based on cable diameter and material, and we also provide custom manufacturing based on your design specifications.
