The Fiberglass Duct Rodder is a professional pipeline lead rope and cable pulling tool designed for transmission line stringing, telecom duct installation, and underground cable routing. It is manufactured using high-strength fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) combined with a protective polyethylene outer coating, providing excellent flexibility, durability, and tensile strength.
This duct rodder is widely used to pre-position traction ropes in underground conduits, allowing installers to efficiently pull power cables, fiber optic cables, or communication wires through pipelines and ducts. The smooth, non-conductive fiberglass rod easily navigates narrow or curved conduits while resisting corrosion, rust, and chemical exposure.
The TX-FDR duct rodder is mounted on a portable steel reel frame with wheels, making transportation and field operation convenient. With customizable rod diameter and length options, it is suitable for a wide range of pipeline installation and maintenance applications in power utilities, telecommunications, construction, and municipal infrastructure projects.

Construction & Materials
The TX-FDR fiberglass duct rodder is engineered with a multi-layer construction:
Fiberglass Core Rod
Produced using advanced pultrusion technology, ensuring high tensile strength, flexibility, and dimensional stability.
Protective Outer Layer
High-density polyethylene coating protects the rod against abrasion, UV radiation, and chemical corrosion while maintaining a smooth surface sliding.
Reel Frame Structure
Mounted on a durable galvanized steel frame with a rotating reel and wheels for convenient transportation and operation.
Metal Connectors
Threaded metal joints and pulling heads ensure a secure connection for ropes, cables, or cleaning tools.
Installation Guide
-
Place the duct rodder reel near the pipeline entrance.
-
Insert the fiberglass rod into the conduit and gradually push it through the duct.
-
Attach the pulling rope, cable, or cleaning tool to the rod head connector.
-
Pull the rod back through the pipeline to guide the cable or rope into the duct.
-
Reel the rod back into the frame after completion.
