The Helical Vibration Damper is an efficient and maintenance-free solution designed to suppress Aeolian vibration in overhead cable systems. It is specially engineered for ADSS fiber optic cables, OPGW, overhead shield wires, and small-diameter conductors exposed to wind-induced oscillations.
The damper features a helically formed damping section that interacts directly with the cable surface to absorb and disperse vibration energy. In contrast, a dedicated gripping section holds the damper securely in place without compressing, distorting, or damaging the cable jacket or optical fibers. This non-clamping design ensures zero signal loss and extended cable lifespan.
Manufactured from high-strength, UV-stabilized, anti-aging PVC, the TX-HVD Series performs reliably across a wide range of environmental conditions, including high wind zones, coastal regions, and long-span aerial installations. Installation is simple, tool-free, and not position-sensitive, allowing flexible placement along the span based on line tension and exposure.

Installation Guide
Step 1:
Position the damper with the gripping section facing the support point.

Step 2:
Begin wrapping the damping section around the cable, moving away from the support.

Step 3:
Slide the damper to the recommended distance from dead-ends, armor rods, or suspension hardware.

Step 4:
Complete installation by wrapping the gripping section securely around the cable.

Step 5:
Verify correct alignment and spacing.

Important Note:
For ADSS cables installed in EHV electric fields, place the damper 1.2–1.5 meters away from dead-ends or suspension points to avoid electrical tracking.
