Vibration Damper & Armour Rod for OPGW / ADSS Cables

Key Features

  • Wide vibration frequency coverage (3 Hz – 150 Hz)

  • Multi-resonance tuning fork design

  • High energy dissipation efficiency

  • Excellent corrosion and weather resistance

  • Suitable for EHV systems up to 500 kV

  • Compatible with OPGW, ADSS, ACSR, AAC, AAAC, and ACAR

The TX Series Vibration Damper and Armour Rod by Telexc is engineered to protect overhead power and fiber optic cables from wind-induced vibration, fatigue, and mechanical damage. Designed for OPGW, ADSS, and conductor systems, the solution effectively suppresses aeolian vibration while evenly distributing stress along the cable surface.

Using a multi-resonance tuning fork principle, the TX vibration damper dissipates vibration energy across a wide frequency range. The accompanying armour rods provide additional reinforcement at clamp contact points, preventing abrasion, strand damage, and long-term fatigue.
