The Heavy-Duty LV Insulation Piercing Connector (JBC 50-240) is designed for high-capacity ABC cables with a conductor range of 50–240 mm² for both main and branch lines. Constructed from UV-resistant, water-resistant thermoplastic fiberglass-reinforced nylon, it ensures robust, durable, and maintenance-free connections for aluminium and copper conductors.
The connector features two shear-head bolts to guarantee secure and reliable connections, providing correct torque automatically during installation. Its waterproof and UV-resistant design makes it ideal for residential, commercial, industrial, and outdoor LV networks, including street lighting, rural electrification, and power distribution systems. Installation is simple and safe, requiring no stripping of cable insulation, reducing installation time and minimizing the risk of conductor damage.
