PA37 / PA69 Anchor Clamp for ADSS & Figure-8 Fiber Optic Cable
The PA37 / PA69 Anchor Clamp is a self-adjusting wedge-type tension clamp. It tensions and dead-ends aerial ADSS and figure-8 fiber optic cables. This fiber optic anchor clamp has a UV-resistant engineering plastic body and a corrosion-resistant steel bail. As a result, it provides reliable cable retention and quick installation. It also delivers stable outdoor performance for telecom and FTTH line deployments.
The self-adjusting wedge system automatically grips the cable inside the conical body. This helps maintain consistent tension. In addition, it minimizes the risk of slipping or jacket damage when you install it correctly. This wedge anchoring clamp features an open bail design that makes it easy to attach to pole brackets or hooks. For this reason, this dead-end clamp is widely used for terminal anchoring and tensioning in telecom access networks, FTTH projects, and building-to-building spans. It also works for other overhead line applications.
The PA37 model fits cable diameters from 3 to 7 mm. Meanwhile, the PA69 model fits diameters from 6 to 9 mm. Both models offer a mechanical breaking load of 2.0 kN. Specifically, the PA37 weighs approximately 131 g, and the PA69 weighs approximately 128 g.
Materials Used in This ADSS Anchor Clamp
-
UV-resistant engineering plastic body – Designed for long-term outdoor use with excellent resistance to UV exposure, weathering, and aging.
-
Corrosion-resistant steel bail – Provides reliable mechanical strength and secure mounting performance in outdoor aerial installations.

How to Install an ADSS Anchor Clamp: Step-by-Step Guide
-
Attach the clamp to the pole bracket using its flexible bail.
-
Place the clamp body over the cable with the wedges in their back position.
-
Push on the wedges by hand to initiate the gripping onto the cable.
-
Check the correct positioning of the cable between the wedges.
-
When the cable is brought to its installation load at the end pole, the wedges move further onto the clamp body. When installing a double dead-end, leave some extra length of cable between the two clamps.
1. What cable types are PA37 and PA69 anchor clamps used for?
PA37 and PA69 anchor clamps are for ADSS and figure-8 fiber optic cables in aerial telecom installations.
2. What is the difference between PA37 and PA69?
The difference is the cable diameter range. PA37 fits 3–7 mm cables. PA69 fits 6–9 mm cables.
3. Is special installation tooling required?
No. The clamp installs easily without special tools.
4. Will the clamp damage the cable jacket?
No. The self-adjusting wedge grips securely without damaging the jacket or insulation when installed correctly.
5. Can the clamp be mounted on pole brackets or hooks?
Yes. The open bail design mounts directly on pole brackets, hooks, and similar supports.
